Meet the Family
We have been jewelers and gemologists for generations…It is in our blood. Each of our stores has a full-time family member there to assist with your every need, something no other multi-store jeweler in Louisiana can say! Learn more about our family members and their stories below.
Brian Boudreaux, G.G.
Brian, the second eldest Boudreaux, always knew he wanted to follow in his father, Don’s, footsteps and help carry on the family business. After graduating in 1976 from DeLaSalle High School in New Orleans, Brian went on to play baseball for the Fightin’ Tigers while studying Business at LSU. Upon his graduation in 1980, he moved to Santa Monica, CA to attend the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to study Gemology. After GIA, his work experience included a stint in Denver, CO at Pace Jewelers to gain outside experience before returning home to join the family in 1984. His role grew in the business as Boudreaux’s moved from its downtown location to Old Metairie and in 1998 he moved into his current role as President of Boudreaux’s Jewelers. Brian is an avid golfer and his wife, Leslie, is an accomplished tennis player. His two sons, Brandon and Robert, have both joined the Boudreaux’s team in the past 10 years.
Tommy Boudreaux, G.G.
Tommy, the youngest of Don’s sons to join the business, graduated from Brother Martin in 1986 and LSU in 1991. After his studies close to home, he packed his bags for California to follow in Brian’s footsteps by attending GIA in Santa Monica. Upon the completion of his studies at GIA in 1992, Tommy gained valuable work experience at some of Los Angeles’ finest jewelers such as Shreve & Co, Traditional, and Tiffany & Co. on Rodeo Drive until he was called back to Louisiana in 1995 when the business was ready to expand to a second location in Mandeville. Since spearheading the opening of the Mandeville store over 25 years ago, Tommy has been the face of Boudreaux’s Jewelers on the Northshore, treating his clients as if they were family. Tommy and his wife, Bridget, are both very active in running, cycling, and tennis and have three children: Jacques, Zoe, and Gaby. They reside in the Beau Chene neighborhood of Mandeville and are very active in their neighborhood community.
Donny started his career as a landscape architect after graduating from Brother Martin HS in 1983 and LSU in 1988 and worked in that profession for several years prior to joining the family business in 1995. After Hurricane Katrina, the business expanded into the Baton Rouge market and Donny has helmed that store since its opening in the fall of 2005. Donny uses his creative design background from his days in landscape architecture on a daily basis assisting customers in their selection of the perfect piece of jewelry, or custom designing one. Donny has two daughters, Jolie and Avery, and resides in the University area of Baton Rouge.
Brandon Boudreaux, G.G.
Brandon, Brian’s eldest son, attended St. Paul’s School in Covington like his grandfather, Don, and graduated in 2009 with Honors. He accepted a scholarship to play baseball at Tulane University and was a four year starter in the outfield for the Green Wave. He graduated Cum Laude in 2013 with a Double BSM in Marketing and Management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business. Upon his graduation, he also moved to California to attend GIA and study Graduate Gemology in GIA’s new world headquarters in Carlsbad, CA. He joined the business in 2014 after his studies at GIA and started his interest in jewelry design, studying under Boudreaux’s craftsmen and jewelers until taking over the roll of Boudreaux’s Lead Designer. Brandon’s wife, Rebecca, also attended Tulane University, where they met and was a standout runner on Track and Field team. They reside in the Lakeview neighborhood of New Orleans.
Robert Boudreaux, G.G.
Robert, Brian’s youngest son, also attended St. Paul’s School in Covington, graduating with honors in 2013. He then graduated from the E.J. Ourso School of Business at LSU in 2017, studying Marketing. Like his family members before him, he also moved to California to attend GIA and study Graduate Gemology in 2018. He returned to Metairie and quickly fit in as a staple on the sales floor with his loyal clients, working alongside his father and brother. Robert is also an avid golfer, you can find he and Brian on the links on most Wednesdays and Sundays at Metairie Country Club. Robert resides in the Lakeview area of New Orleans.
